Nefelus provides a cloud-based software service to end users to expedite design tasks in the area of Electronic Chip Design.

The service provides all the mechanisms necessary for the end-user to perform isolated design tasks and/or task flows consisting of many steps.

Nefelus service provides the hardware infrastructure required to execute complex tasks as well as the tools and tool setups required for their execution.

Nefelus service is available to end users 24/7 as a turn-key service with no setup requirements except a brief user authentication (login) procedure.

Dimitris Fotakis

Dimitris has 20 years of technical experience as a software architect/developer in multiple NP-complete CAD algorithms and tool flows in the IC design flow. He has developed multiple products proliferated and/or introduced in the EDA market on Physical Implementation and Timing Optimization for high performance chips. He has driven the architecture and development teams of two start-up; and currently Nefelus, to build from grounds-up high capacity multi-modular software systems exploiting distributed multi-processing hardware architectures. Since 2010 he has been working with web technologies in the areas of Cloud Computing Infrastructure, UI visualization frameworks and ERP systems.

Giannis Kosmas

Giannis is a senior software engineer and architect with extensive experience in all aspects of a project and a product life-cycle, from design to delivery. He loves to explore and combine new technologies for building innovative products and services. His software design and development skills span across system programming, server side applications, web services as well as web GUI applications. He has managed many multi-module software development projects and he has a deep knowledge of open source technologies for more than 20 years. He has been particularly interested in information retrieval technologies, and over the last years he has been focusing on Cloud Computing and Cloud-hosted applications and services.

Georgios Dimitrakakis

Georgios (Giorgis) is a Senior Engineer of Computing Infrastructure and Enterprise Deployment. He has been a system administrator for both Windows and Linux operating systems more than ten years. His strong scientific background in combination with his previous experience in DataCenter environments have been an asset on all projects that he has been involved with so far. Through his studies he has become an expert on High Performance Computing systems and has successfully transfer both his knowledge and expertise on cloud applications. Over the last years he has been working on the setup of cloud environments and the deployment of cloud solutions on bare metal infrastructures.
